Vital Vet Urgent Pet Care (VVUPC) has been a dream since Dr. Brittany Daily started vet school. After working and providing relief veterinary care at all types of veterinary facilities: general practice, urgent care, and emergency hospitals, Dr. Daily realized she wanted to help fill the gap between primary practice and emergency care.
For over 3 years, she has been looking for the perfect location and building to create this dream, but everything fell short. Her father asked her if she had an idea of the layout she wanted based on everything she’d seen. And together, on graph paper, the foundations of VVUPC was born. Months later, a junk yard lot was for sale, and the dream continued. VVUPC became a reality with the help of local Builder Tom Pollard. Everything in the design from the pass through from reception to treatment room for true emergencies, the windows between surgery and treatment for STAT help, the room quantity for preventing crowded lobby, and the bereavement room that allows owners out the side, was designed in the best interest of the patient and their family to help provide the most efficient care.
VVUPC had been a lifelong dream of Dr. Daily, made a reality by friends and family, and the “village” that has made it what it is today. VVUPC strives to provide compassionate, efficient care when your pet needs it most. And our entire staff is so excited to be able to provide this to Norman and the surrounding communities.
